Returning Residents
After living abroad for at least 12 months. You must have owned and personally used the vehicle for 12+ months before returning, the car must be under 8 years old, and it must ship within 90 days of your return (extendable to 360 days with KRA approval). No similar exemption used in the last 4 years.
Persons Living With Disability
Must be officially registered under the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD), with disability certification and a vehicle spec aligned to your requirements.
Diplomats & Organizations
Accredited diplomats, international organization staff, and approved NGOs, government, or development projects with valid, current exemption documentation.

Costing & engagement deposit
A clear cost breakdown vehicle cost, shipping, clearance, and registration with no hidden charges. The deposit is fully factored into your final vehicle cost.
Sourcing & purchase
Our Japan agents source through verified auction houses and certified dealerships checked for grading, condition, and mileage authenticity. Quality first, then specs.
Pre-export inspection
A full mechanical inspection engine, suspension, underbody plus mileage authentication, followed by a KEBS-approved inspection before shipment.
Shipment & clearance
4–6 weeks to Kenya. Our Mombasa team handles full KRA clearance, applies your duty-free exemption, and completes registration and compliance.
Delivery
A final inspection and test drive in Nairobi, with any minor issues fixed immediately. Bring your own mechanic if you'd like then full detailing, and delivery.
